Drug Safety Specialist Job Responsibilities
Document Safety Event Summaries
- Prepare detailed Safety reports that provide precise details of Adverse Events (AD)
- You must ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Design a procedure for processing incoming calls
- Build a systematic procedure for handling incoming calls.
- Ensure accuracy in communication.
Analyze and Provide Safety Data Insights
- Prepare and provide regular safety reports highlighting trends, important metrics, and potential risks to help in making the right decision.
Review and Document Adverse Events
- Collect, review, and monitor documents of adverse events.
- Ensure the proper documentation of Adverse Events and timely follow-up.
Collaboration with internal teams and trial sites
- Coordinate with internal teams and research sites to maintain safety protocols and compliance.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Pharmacology
- Bachelor’s degree in a Healthcare-related field.
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Expertise in working with computer applications like Microsoft Office
What skills and experience are required for this job role?
- Proficiency in clinical research, case processing
- Post-marketing pharmacovigilance experience
- English Proficiency is required
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills with proven organizational skills.
