NHM Pharmacist Vacancy Details
What are the suggested basic responsibilities of a pharmacist?
- Primarily accountable for supervising the inventory stock and maintaining the record of the medicinal supplies.
- Dispense medications according to prescription order and ensure that there is no error in the prescription order
- Ensure all the medications are stored as per their standard and storage conditions.
- Participate in health programs organized by the organisation related to awareness, such as vaccination, birth control, basic hygiene, etc.
- Prepare and submit the periodic reports to the concerned health authorities.
- Make sure all pharmacy practices comply with NHR regulatory standards and government norms
What is the required qualification?
- Candidates having any of the following degrees, either B. Pharm / D. Pharm / M.Pharm are eligible to apply for the job
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
- Registered under the Kerala Pharmacy Council (Valid state pharmacy council registration is required)
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: The Minimum AGE requirement is 20 Years.
- Maximum Age: The maximum AGE requirement is 40 Years.

Pay Scale / Salary
National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), Palakkad, Kerala, has disclosed the salary figures for the offered post of Pharmacist. The fresher pharma candidates will be paid with the offered salary of up to INR 17,000/- per month at the initial level, which may be increased over time and experience.
