How You’ll Contribute?

  1. Compile, evaluate, and make an entry of Safety data into the Vigiflow/AD-RMS system.
  2. Conduct clinical, quality, and statistical evaluation of reported ADRs.
  3. Help in monitoring and assessing potential safety signals from compiled data.
  4. Work closely with Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centres (AMCs) under PVPI confirms the data validation.
  5. Assist in running awareness campaigns and sessions for healthcare professionals concerning pharmacovigilance practices.
  6. Align with the global and local pharmacovigilance guidelines and SOPs such as CDSCO and WHO.
  7. Perform the other duties assigned by the concerned authority.
  8. Ensure compliance with Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP) and regulatory standards.
  9. Follow up with the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) for any updates and new reporting guidelines.

What We’re Looking For?

  • Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm in Pharmacology / Pharmacovigilance / Pharmacy Practice)
  • Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Research
  • Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm D)
  • MBBS and BDS candidates are also eligible to apply for the job role.
  • Candidates must be registered under their respective councils.

Professional Background and Expertise Required

  • Expertise in using VigiFlow, ADRMS, or similar safety database tools.
  • Strong knowledge related to ADRs reporting, ICSR, and regulatory standards.
  • Basic Understanding of PVPI, CDSCO, ICH E2E, and WHO guidelines for pharmacovigilance.
  • Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for documentation and presentations.
  • Having 01 year of experience in drug safety or Pharmacovigilance is desirable.

Job Location

The Candidates selected by the IPC Panel in the interview will be posted at the Ghaziabad-based office of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), Ghaziabad.

Offered Salary and Tenure of Employment

Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) has disclosed the salary figures for the offered post of Junior Pharmacovigilance Associate. The fresher pharma or medical candidates will be paid with the offered salary of up to INR 32,000/- per month. This job is purely a contract-based job for which the candidate’s contract will be valid for 01 year, till 31st March 2026. As per the recruitment policy, the contract can be terminated earlier if the candidate’s performance is not found to satisfactory
