- No Fee is applicable for Physically Challenged Candidates.
- Pay the fee in an only online mode.
SSC CHT 2024 Age Limit
- The minimum age for the application is 18 years.
- The maximum age for the application is 30 years.
- Schedule Caste / Scheduled Tribe Candidate 5 years of age relaxation
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer ) candidates 3 years of age relaxation
- Persons with disability PWD 10 years of age relaxation
- Ex-servicemen / Disabled Ex-servicemen 03 years of age relaxation

- Candidates having a PG degree in Hindi with English from a recognized University in India. (English must be a compulsory or Elective subject at degree level examination)
- Candidates having a PG degree in English with Hindi from a recognized University in India. (Hindi must be a compulsory or Elective subject at degree level examination)
- Masters in any subject other than English and Hindi
- Diploma or certificate in translation course as per the holding degree.
- 2 years of experience in translation work.

SSC SHT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates having a PG degree in Hindi with English from a recognized University in India. (English must be a compulsory or Elective subject at degree level examination)
- Candidates having a PG degree in English with Hindi from a recognized University in India. (Hindi must be a compulsory or Elective subject at degree level examination)
- Masters in any subject other than English and Hindi
- Diploma or certificate in translation from English to Hindi
- 3 Years of translation working experience in the Central or State Government.

- INR 44,900 to 1,42,400
SSC CHT 2024 Exam Pattern

- The time Duration for the candidates eligible for the use of a scribe for the Exam is 2 hours and 40 Mins,
- Negative marking of -0.25 marks on each wrong answer.
Selection Procedure
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on marks scored in the exam.
| UR/EWS – 30%OBC – 25%SC/ST/PH – 20%relaxation under the reserved category. |
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at the center specified by the SSC authority.
- Candidates need to bring the documents for physical verification, if candidates fail to bring the documents the application will be cancelled.
- The joining Letter will be sent via email or letter.
