What are the main responsibilities of a Medical Writer?
- Observe the planning, writing, and refinement of regulatory documents necessary for clinical development and product registration.
- Maintain consistency of data and outcomes across related documents.
- Ensure the documents are fact-based, balanced, and supported by appropriate evidence.
- Ability to design, draft, edit, and prepare various formats.
- Plan a discussion session to promote alignment and clarity within the writing team.
- Request and negotiate in favour of changing schedules and content with other team members.
- Coordinate with teams and stakeholders to provide timely document development, address the challenges for timely resolution, and document completion.
- Make sure the data is presented in a clear, complete, and accurate manner.
- Observe the document authoring efforts and apply an effective project management plan to achieve regulatory goals.
- Collect and evaluate data from different regions and develop unified content strategies for writing projects.
