What are the job responsibilities of a Pharmacist?
- Counselling the patient on medication compliance and potential side effects and toxicities.
- Maintain an accurate record of drugs in the stock register and ensure sufficient stock is available in the inventory.
- Follow the First Expiry First Out (FEFO) principle and manage the safe disposal of expired drugs.
- Regularly conduct visual inspection of drugs and perform other assigned duties as required.
- Accountable for dispensing ARV and opportunistic infection medicines with counselling.
- Cooperate and coordinate with patient visit schedules and check the pill counts.
- NACO works to create awareness among the public regarding HIV/AIDS.
- Provides care, treatment, and support to HIV patients and suspected candidates.
Eligibility Criteria to apply for the job role
- A candidate who has graduated in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized university.
- Candidates with a diploma in pharmacy (D.Pharm) are required to have 03 years of experience in the healthcare sector.
- Candidates must be registered with the state pharmacy council and must have a valid registration number.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Candidates must be ready and interested in serving the community.

- Minimum Age Limit – 22 Years
- Maximum Age Limit for the post of Pharmacist – 60 Years
