What are the basic duties of the role of Clinical Data Associate?
- Share the sample data and shipping details with the sponsor as per the agreed study timeline.
- Provision to consult with the Data Acquisition Specialist to understand sample Metadata specifications of vendors and Contract Research Organization.
- Ensure the reconciliation of CRF informed consent data is aligned before shipment of samples for analysis.
- Facilitate regular updates on Sample Data Cleaning progress status for assigned studies with all related functions.
- Expertise in reviewing edit check documents and Data Transfer Agreements.
- Coordinate and resolve issues in sample collection data to the monitor, site, and sponsors within a specific time frame.
- Experience in assessing and analyzing the external study data, such as Tissue sample information, PD, PK, and Biomarker.
- Conduct the user acceptance testing for the sample check result.
What are the educational requirements for this job role?
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), (B.Sc in Biochemistry / Biology / Microbiology), (B.Tech in Biotechnology / Biomedical / Biochemistry) or any other relevant field.
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm in any specialization), (M.Sc in Biochemistry / Biology / Microbiology), (M.Tech in Biotechnology / Biomedical / Biochemistry) or any other relevant field.
What specific skills and experience should you have for this position?
- Data Management and Analytical skills.
- Believe in open communication with cross-functional departments
- Excellent knowledge of Clinical Research activities, including Clinical Trial Processes, Informed Consent Reconciliation, and Sample Collection & Handling.
- Familiar with Clinical Data systems such as EDC, LIMS, and CTMS
- Good Understanding of Clinical Data, GCP, ICH, and Medical Terminology.
- Excellent Verbal and Oral Communication skills.
