What are the job responsibilities of a Clinical Pharmacist?
- Regularly review the medication of the patient and identify the problems associated with the administration of medications, including drug interaction, adverse drug reactions, and other related issues.
- Optimize the therapy and recommend the modifications to improve therapy as per NABH guidelines.
- Keep the updated clinical record and documents of medication therapy management and ensure adherence with NABH documentation protocols.
- Participate in internal and external audits and verify it is aligned with NABH standards.
- Guide patients about the proper use of medication, side effects, contraindications, and precautionary measures, and explain their health status and treatment period.
- Strictly Adhere to pharmacy rules and regulations to promote the safe use of drugs.
What are the job responsibilities of a Senior Pharmacist?
- Monitor the daily activities of the pharmacy, like patient care, medication storage, and dispensing, are performed according to NABH guidelines.
- Observe Junior pharmacists and other team members, whether they are complying with NABH standards.
- Coordinate with the cross-functional teams during inspection to ensure that all operations are aligned with NABH standards.
- Review and prepare the reports of pharmacy activities like medication storage, dispensing, inventory stock, patient safety, etc
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm)
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) is also eligible for the job
- Candidates must be registered under PCI.
Skills & Experience
- Good Understanding of Pharmacology Concepts
- Capable of analyzing the patient data, clinical history
- Expertise in TDM (Therapeutic Drug Monitoring)
- Excellent knowledge of NABH guidelines.
- Freshers and Experienced both are eligible to apply for the job.
Clinical Pharmacist Salary & Other Details
