What are the job responsibilities?
- Inspect the premises and maintain the inventory stocks and medical supplies.
- Dispense the medication according to the prescription order.
- Dispense over-the-counter medicines to patients prescribed by the doctor.
- Ensure the product if the products are well labeled and correct dosage.
- Guide the patient with the right information about drug uses, like doses, side effects, precautionary measures, etc.
- Observe expiry dates and ensure the safe storage of medicines and the disposal of expired medicines.
- Maintain the stock register, record of prescription, and log book.
- Assist in national and local health programs like TB Control, Vaccination, Polio, AIDS, Birth Control, etc.
What should be your qualifications for this role?
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm) from a recognized institute in India.
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
- Registered under the Pharmacy Council of India.
Experience required for the role?
- Freshers and experienced candidates are both welcome to apply for the job.
- Freshers are eligible to apply for the job.
- Having prior experience in a hospital or public health pharmacy would be a plus point.
Age Requirement Criteria
- The Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
- The Maximum age requirement is 30 years. You must have been born before 1st May 1995.
- Age Relaxation Criteria:
- OBC / MBC / EBC / BCM – 3 years
- Scheduled Caste – 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen – Period of military service plus 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities – 10 years
- Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated and not remarried – As per government rules and regulations
