Fortrea Safety Science Coordinator Job Description

1. Handling adverse event monitoring systems.
2. Ensure correct entry of all incoming Adverse Event, Serious Adverse Event reports into the departmental database and forwarded to the central mailbox.
3. Assist in drafting queries and collecting any inconsistent data with the help of healthcare professionals.
4. Help in performing the processing of Expedited Safety Reports (ESRs) and Periodic Safety Reports (PSRs).
5. Assist with the reporting of Expedited Safety Reports and Public Safety Reports to clients and regulatory bodies.
6. Draft patient narratives and code reported adverse events utilizing MedDRA terminology (for marketed products, if applicable)
7. Observe the intake and triage of Safety information from various sources, either from spontaneous reports or related to clinical trials.
8. Operate within the Quality Management System framework, including SOPs, WIs, and other relevant standards.
9. Ensure the uploading and safe storage of project-related documents, case reports, and other related documentation.

Who is eligible to apply for the role?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Pharm D) 
• B.Sc / M.Sc / Nursing / Medical Sciences
• Experience of working in Pharma, Biotech, or CRO institutions
• Minimum 01 year of working experience is required for Pharm D candidates.

Skills Required

• Strong Attention to minute details
• Strong knowledge of Medical Affairs, Clinical Data Entry
• Proficiency in Clinical Data Monitoring, DRA, QA
• Good oral and verbal Communication skills
• Basic Knowledge of MS Office Windows applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organization skills.
