Job Responsibilities
- Produce accurate, comprehensive, and well-organized articles using sharp judgment skills to assess the required details and focus on excellent grammar and logical structure.
- Generate short summaries highlighting the criteria of ICSR and other safety concerning information from each article.
- Engaged in other duties like performing searches and verifying the accuracy of terminology according to business requirements and provided training.
- Determine the safety parameters of drugs for each batch of biomedical literature in a timely fashion and comply with the client’s requirements for quality and efficacy.
- Briefly extract important elements of articles and prepare detailed indexes of abstract content to verify effective and complete retrieval of literature from the client database.
- Track all records of actions and evaluations using the drug safety system and make sure to prepare an audit-ready history for future reference.
- Read and review lots of articles from biomedical literature and internal drug safety alerts.
- Determine the individual case safety reports and other related safety details that may influence the safety profile of the customer’s product.
- Identify and pick Artie’s related to the client’s interest for entry into the client’s product literature database and ensure compliance with provided guidelines.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy / Dentistry / Physiotherapy / Nursing
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Health, Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Biotechnology.
- Having a certificate from a professional medical writer’s institution is desirable.
- A minimum of 01 Year of Experience is required in reviewing biomedical literature for adverse event reporting.
- Proficiency in biomedical terminology, drugs, and therapeutic areas.
Skills Required
- Expertise in generating accurate summaries using writing skills
- Strong English language skills including verbal and oral
- Good analytical skills to determine the important points of biomedical studies and case reports.
- Proficiency in drugs and Pharmacovigilance is an additional benefit.
- Experience with commercial and client-tailored biomedical literature databases.
Pharmacovigilance Associate Salary Range
